Books and Books Galore!

I have decided that I shall be doing book reviews, in a manner of speaking. I am going to read a book, and give a hearty review about it. I read so many different things, and sometimes I would really like to share my opinions of them, but I never seem to get around to that. Well, now I am.
I will take requests and I will also do plays and/or musicals. Hell, I would even read the dictionary if someone asked me to. (For the record, I already did.)
Books are the key to imagination. Living in the world we live in, people need an escape from the harsh reality that is life. I wish I could inspire people to read. My Mamaw gave me a book when I was little. It was the story of Jonah, you know, from the bible? It was about a little girl who walked inside the story of Jonah and followed him around on his journey. There was a quote at the end of the book that always stuck with me - "Reading is the magic key, to take you where you want to be."

That's it, right there.

"To go where no man has gone before."

To discover worlds so alike yet, so different from ours.

To escape.

It's a magical place, the mind, and there are so many stories out there that are waiting to be read and so many magical places waiting to be discovered. I honestly believe books are better than television shows or movies. Sure, with movies and television shows you get the visuals, the hard picture right in front of your face but with a book, all of that is left to you. You can imagine anything you want inside a book. Also, with a book, you can get all the details that they couldn't incorporate into movies.

Someday, I'm going to have a library in my house just like in the old movies. Floor to ceiling shelves of books and you will most definitely need a ladder to reach the books. I could live in a library if they let me. There is nothing like the smell of a book.

So, I am currently attempting to figure out what my first "review" will be and whether or not I want to do it on the book I'm currently reading (Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan, Book Number One in the Lynburn Legacy) or if I want to find something easy to try first. I could write a list of all the books I currently own, but I feel like whoever reads this would be reading for days. So, Suggestions? Maybe I'll just narrow it down and eenie-meenie-miney-moe it.

Hopefully soon, I'll have my first review up and no one will think what I have to say sucks.

Here's looking at you kid.
